By Alison Ellis May 27, 2026

Looking for a way to help your teen stay active this summer without spending a fortune? The Planet Fitness® High School Summer Pass® powered by GYMSHARK is back, giving teens free access to participating Planet Fitness® locations all summer long.

This program allows teens ages 14–19 to work out for free at their home Planet Fitness® club from June 1 through August 31, 2026. Pre-registration is now open on their website.

How to Sign Up for the Planet Fitness® High School Summer Pass®

Visit the High School Summer Pass® webpage here, and complete the pre-registration. During this process, you'll select a club, which is the only one you will have free access to with your pass.

Next, you'll fill out a quick online form, and a parent or guardian will need to complete a waiver. It's as simple as that! You will be able to begin using the pass on June 1, 2026.

Why Parents Love This Program

Summer can be challenging for families trying to limit spending and screen time. The High School Summer Pass® gives teens a completely free and productive place to spend time, build healthy habits, and stay active during the summer months.

Many parents online say the program gave their teens a safe indoor activity during the summer heat while helping them stay motivated and social. Parents can sign up for a free day pass to visit with their teen, or they might consider getting a pass for themselves so that hitting the gym can become a family activity. Whether your teen is already involved in athletics or simply looking for something to do, this free summer program may be worth adding to your family’s summer plans.
